RECOMMENDATIONS

“Lori Washbon is definitely one of the most talented designers that I have ever worked with. Her expertise and capacity spans from web user interface design to physical products, and everything in between. She takes her time to really get to know a problem and then is able to come up with amazing, unexpected, out of the box solutions.”

— Tan Le
CEO & Founder, Emotiv Lifesciences

“Lori is a supremely talented and gifted artist across many media. Meeting tight deadlines Lori always delivers and amazes clients with innovative high-end, quality designs, that are phenomenal! I have great respect for Lori as a designer and artist. She is a joy to work with and brings both skill and flair to any artistic endeavor. Her unique artistic vision is bright, exquisite, and fun.”

— Lou Sremac
Director External Creative Services, Bigpoint GmbH

“Lori is an extremely creative person with a solid design sensibility. She also understands how to mix good looking work with engineering friendly designs that take into account good usability. She is that rare mix of technical and creative talent. Plus people love working with her.”

— Scott Sassa
President, Hearst Entertainment & Syndication

“I've known Lori for many years. While at Proxicom she oversaw the building and running of websites, online applications and offline collateral for various big bands that we worked with. I continue to be impressed but not surprised by what Lori has accomplished. She is a hard working and very talented creative director with additional skills in human factors, tech, usability, and also the business acumen to see the forest and the trees. She is also a great person to have on your team and is looked up to by the many junior designers who she has mentored. I would highly recommend Lori to any organization, and would make myself available to discuss Lori's many positive attributes at any time.”

— Todd Blank
Mobile Interaction Design Lead, JP Morgan Chase

Who?

Lori Washbon is a seasoned design professional, creative problem solver, and doer-of-many-things currently living in San Francisco.

Her interests include binge-watching obscure 1970’s TV shows, and taking long rides on the MUNI Metro. “Nothing beats a monthly pass,” chirps Lori enthusiastically. “For only $80, you can experience some pretty ripe diversity. Plus if you bring your laptop, you can legitimately write it off.”

Lori's favorite vacation destination is the Davies Campus Neurocritical Care Unit. “The food is great, the views are great, AND they give a kick-ass sponge bath,” she gushes, “this should be on everyone's bucket list for a top-notch, relaxation experience.”

Did you know:

  • Lori knows how to code. She made this website all by herself.
  • No one else's designs were used in the making of this portfolio – it's all her own work.
  • Everyone has their 15 minutes of fame...
Lori's was appearing on the Sherif John “Lunch Brigade” show after winning the Maggio Carrot Contest. She went home with a brand new Schwinn “Stingray” bike with super-hip ape-hanger handlebars and a metallic blue banana seat – Sweet!
