Every once in a while, someone will ask me if I can really draw stuff in addition to doing digital work.
(you know, with one of those old-fashioned pencil thingies...)
It's a fair question actually. It's easy to assume that you don't need any drawing skills to do digital illustration as somehow the computer will just "do it for you."
But all those classes I had in color therory and life drawing that I so whined about back then have really proven invaluable today.
